About the Role

    The potential individual is tasked with effective management of the Agency’s Linkage to Care and psychosocial department. He or she will also oversee and monitor the client's counselling, linkage to treatment, care, support and follow-up, including the timely referral to social support services, coordinating workshops and skills-building sessions as well as support VCT screening interventions.

Requirements

Skills & Qualification 


  • At least a First Degree in Social Sciences/Social Work /Counselling, Public Administration or related studies  

  • A minimum of 1 year experience working with and/or counselling children/young people, adults and key populations, as defined by the Ministry of Health  

  • Experience in implementing creative youth-friendly - approaches in the areas of HIV/AIDS and STI education and prevention 

  • Excellent and demonstrable Project Management and Community Mobilization Skills 

  • Experience in health promotion, coordinating health programmes and staff supervision.  

  • Excellent writing, communication and organizational skills
